Types of Insulation We Offer for New Homes
Spray foam insulation is typically made from a combination of isocyanate and polyol resin which when combined creates foam. This foam is installed by our team using a spray gun that is attached to our spray system that ensures we are getting the correct mixture ratio of materials and consistent air pressure.
- Thermal Resistance: Spray foam has the highest r-value out of all the standard forms of insulation that are in the marketplace.
- Air Seal: When spray foam is sprayed onto a surface it adheres to the surface and expands. This means that it fills all cracks and gaps and creates a seal where no air will be able to flow thorugh.
We can install two types of batt and roll insulation for your housing project; fiberglass and mineral wool. Both types of insulation have their own unique material makeup which creates benefits for each option.
Fiberglass
- Affordable: As a result of the material makeup and commonality of this building material it has a lower cost.
Mineral Wool
- Eco-Friendly: Mineral wool is made from recycled materials from the mining industries.
- Sound Proofing: This type of insulation is great at reducing airborne and sounds as a result of vibrations.
We offer a type of blown-in insulation that is called cellulose insulation which is made of treated recycled paper. We recommend cellulose insulation to be installed into the attic of your home.
- Fire Resistant: As a result of the chemicals that are used in treating the recycled paper creates an insulation that is fire resistant.
- Eco-Friendly: If you are conscious about the building materials that you use and are looking for "green" building materials cellulose will suit those needs.
